Very few children in America are genuine orphans. Most have relatives, family friends, neighbors or godparents who could, and are willing to, keep them if they must be moved temporarily or permanently from parental homes. As we know, there is such a halo around “adoption” and states have received financial incentives for finding “forever homes” for the children who are made Paper Orphans by a stroke of a judge’s pen. The child is labeled as abused and/or neglected and therefore is “at risk” and usually that means more money goes to the people who adopt the child, usually the ones in the pre-adoptive home where most babies are placed immediately. Those people have a say and can make comments along the way, so they are very much involved and interested in interrupting any chance that the baby will be returned home. If the baby stays in a “foster” home for 15 of 22 months, as you know from reading, then the termination can be effectively automatic by federal law and state incorporation of its provisions and sometimes that’s the excuse….

My kids were with my ex wife and she could not keep up with their needsso cps took them and placed them with the grandmother and one in a foster home and he said he wanted to live with me so as my health got better i said yes then suddenly his foster parents hear of this one being a police officer and the other a child service worker they alienated my son from me! And suddenly childrens service are asking all sorts of unjust requests anger management i do not have a problem with anger asking foor drug screening i am not an adict asking for parenting classes i have never needed them but completed them just to make cps happy but they want it again then asking me to attend domestic violence counseling when i have never been formally charged how are they alowd to do this and all the while cps telling my son how bad i am and the foster parents trying to adopt my son total crap!!!!

I didnt know untill it happened to us! My daughter did everything she was suppose to do, it wasnt suppose to end like this! They didnt have a reason to do it, they had to lie to do it! Our caseworker made up big lies and got caught, and got away with it! It breaks my heart every day to know what my 8 yr old grandson has gone threw for the last 17 mo.! And our other grandson doesnt even know us. We did a open adoption 8 mo ago and she signed her rights away so that her cousin could adopt them so they couldnt take them and the state steped in stopped adoption, we havent seen them since. They are going to change thier names, and the adoption still hasnt gone through! I miss them so much, I cry at work, in the dtore, ect. Our whole family fill like its not real! Plez help us, or help all the babies out there!
A special petition is developed in order to help the families whose children have been taken away due to falsified accusation by the SPC (Child Protective Services) employees. As more and more families become victims of false accusations against them, we believe that such a petition is necessary in order bring justice in the country. In order to have working material, social service employees need more children to show the government that they need money. Following that goal, they falsify the accusations and take children from normal families. This may happen to any family. The petition will require the corrections in the law so that families and their children can be protected from the crime committed by social service employees.

People need to understand, that there are many parents out there who refuse to vaccinate thier kids for thier own personal beliefs and fear of thier children being harmed from whatever ingredients are in the vaccinations. I, myself had 4 happy & healthy children and they were all vaccinated since babies. None of them (thanks to God) have had issues with autism, ADD/ADHD and etc. BUT, vaccinating them was my choice and not anyone else’s. These days, health professionals think its thier duty to call the law or whomever, if they feel a parent is not following protocol like majority parents do. This, to me is not right. Its none of thier business if the parent has chosen to vaccinate thier kids, home school thier kids and etc. They need to stick to what they do, which is treating illnesses. There are also corrupt health professionals who get a kickback for reporting parents just for the hell of it. I have had my expierence with this once, the culprit was a female dentist who worked closely with a CPS caseworker. With much investigating, I found out both were good friends. This dentist reported many parents to her friend, who in return got paid hefty bonuses thru the govt, to where they compensated the dentist. I am so sorry for what you are going thru. I have been falsely accused of child abuse and know how much of a nightmare it is and how much CPS abuses the power they are given to govern our lives. I would like to get involved more and find out how I can prevent this from happening to someone else.
I have also been a victim of CPS. In my county its called Kidnap County (Kitsap). I have lost my 4 children to this corrupt system. First my 2 oldest and then i became pregnant twice more and they came and took them right out of my arms after I gave birth. Because of all that they have done to me, it split me and my husband apart to divorce, my family will have nothing to do with me and now I mental issues such as panic attacks, anxiety, depression and PTSD.
Now its been almost 1-5 yrs since I’ve seen any of my children. BUT I have become determined to keep fighting even though I “Have No Rights”. I AM A MOTHER. I CARRIED. GAVE BIRTH. AND RAISED MY CHILDREN (2 oldest ones). They can try to take my rights, but it won’t stop me.
I have started to fight from the outside. I am becoming a interdependent social worker. My plan is to work WITH the parents, NOT against. I will not work in the system but from the outside. Try to let them stop me from fighting to help others from losing their prides and joys.

My daughter that was 6 yrs. old was taken from me when social worker started a bunch lies on me, and called me in and started a case on me, then said it was an ongoing and as long as I did the plan, that I would not use custody of my daughter, well I guess I learned you don’t believe them, Social worker called me one night at 10pm and ask me to come the office and ask where was my daughter and I said she is with her dad, cause it was his visions court order, well I went and talked to her and she said she needed me come back in about a hr. and pick up my daughter after they call her father in and told me not call him or anything, so I said okay, but wished you would explain to me, she said she would when get back, So she called me in about a hr. and told me come her office so I showed up and there was the police and my ex and my lil girl, and went in and my daughter came to me and was crying and said, “MOMMY THEY WANT LET ME GO HOME WITH EITHER ONE OF YOU” I said, what?????? Social worker told me to give her hug and come with her and talk to her, I gave my lil girl a hug and kiss and told her I love you, and followed the social worker in the back and she told me that she is taken custody of my daughter, I said WHAT?????, What did I do and she started reading a list that I put my daughter in danger, Here is a copy of list what they said we all did, and why I should not be charged with:
HERE ARE A LIST OF WHAT CHARGES THAT STATED TO TAKE CUSTODY OF MY DAUGHTER THAT WAS 6 YRS OLD AT THAT TIME:
1. My daughter states that she has been whipped and touched by her father:
• I couldn’t help cause didn’t know about it, plus he had weekend visits with my child through the courts.
• I have been reporting to the social service and police since my child was 2 yrs. old that someone was abusing my daughter either Physical, Sexual, Verbal/Emotional, and not anybody done anything to help me protect my daughter.
2. My daughter’s adult sister states that to social service that my child’s father had a sexual relationship with her when she was around age 15:
• I couldn’t stop or have helped with him having sexual relationship with older child; cause didn’t know anything was going on.
• Believe me if I had known I would had left him yrs. ago.
3. Doesn’t have the mental capacity to protect my child from further abuse, and also said that didn’t have the IQ to raise or protect my child:
• Lots of people with low IQ’s have children and raise them with most of adults draw SSI for mental have children except severe mental handicapped no one takes their kids.
• What mental doctor said, I am not mental capacity to protect my child from abused, when the counselor was only my daughter’s counselor.
• When I tried to get people help me, they say nothing was done to her or her father would tell a story to them get it back off of him.
4. Placed my child at risk by allowing my child to go to her grandmother’s home, when she is aware of the grandmother smoking while using oxygen:
• My mother has been on oxygen for over 8 yrs. and never caused a fire by smoking and about thousands smoke with Oxygen Concentrators. If so dangerous they wouldn’t put it in homes. My mother doesn’t smoke while she is on the oxygen tanks, she smokes while she is on that Oxygen Concentrator, and its electrical devices. Oxygen is not flammable and will not explode. If my mother uses that oxygen tanks she doesn’t smoke, but they still won’t explode
5. Doesn’t protect my child from her oldest sister who beats her:
• Her oldest sister is 24 and has the mind of a 6 to a 10yr old, because she has handicapped.
• She don’t beat her sister, they were fighting over the computer, and oldest sibling was trying to take my child off the computer and my daughter was hitting and screaming, so oldest sibling was trying to get her off.
• Oldest child has only whipped her on her butt with her hand. I wouldn’t let anybody abuse my children.
• Oldest one has a mind of the youngest child’s age, so that is like having to young children around, and siblings fight and hit all the time, even little kids and Katrina has that type of mind.
6. Took my child with me to my ex’s bf house where a gun was drawn on; and my child was in the car:
• I went to my ex-boyfriends house to get my stuff and we started arguing and he brought the gun out on the porch and sat it down and why cause he was trying get me leave and leave the car cause I was behind in payments and when I told him that I have my child in the car he said, okay just leave and come back later and we will talk about you getting your stuff and making arrangements to work something out so can keep the car and get payments caught up, so I just left.
• I didn’t go to start arguing or wouldn’t have taken my child, plus he has not ever done anything like that before, He doesn’t even have a police record of any kind, for nothing.
• He has not ever had a fight or argument or a disagreement about anything.
• The only reason we didn’t stay together is because his teenage daughter and our children wouldn’t get along together.
• I helped him raised his daughter, that he has custody of since she was 45 days old until we broke up when she was almost two yrs. old.
• He moved on and met someone else now got a baby on the way.
• He always helped me take care of my child sometimes when I come over to spend weekends with them.
7. Has failed to follow through with the prevention plan that was developed:
• Social worker started a prevention plan on (1/7/11), and I was doing everything she had asked me to. On (1/18/11), she comes and does another cause of my child’s school. I did everything she asked me on that prevention plan. It was also found out that my child didn’t have unexcused absences. I also have a copy of school attendance
• If there is 24 reports on me why did they come only out a couple of times and did a prevention plan in January 2011, then in February 2011 take her out of my home?????
Even know that I know it wasn’t going do any good but did everything that the social worker and judge asked me do on the prevention plan but still not going let me have her back, they tried their best to put chargers on the father, but couldn’t and would not even let him have visitations rights only me, but after they seen I was going do anything and everything to get her home, they now stated on me and saying that I had sexually stuff with her, the damn social workers how can they lay down and go sleep with this on their conscious but the way I see it will come back on them “karma bites and going bite them hard” I even told everybody even my lawyer I would take lie detection test to prove I’m innocent but still does not help with getting my child home, but if there is anybody that would like to help me and my sister to get something like a claim going or law suit let us know and I’m not joking I am very much serious about doing this, I have went from a appointed lawyer to a paid lawyer, but after I paid her come find out she does not really know anything about custody cases and could not help me, but getting another one and also doing a law suit on state and social services, I don’t want money just want my child back and respect back, please call or text or email if like to help, I just found this website by searching on line, so just email me or call or text

Recently my son had been telling me things that his mother had been telling him about me. I would talk to him and explain to him that if his mother tells him bad things about me to think about the type of father that I am and weigh that with what his mother is telling him about me and come to his own conclusion as to whether there is any validity to what she is telling him.
My first wife was killed 19 years ago by a drunk driver. Most recently my nine-year-old son told me that his mother had told him that I had killed my wife. He said that he told her that my wife was killed by a drunk driver. He said that she told him that I was driving the car that she was killed in and that I was drinking when she was hit — which is absolutely false. I decided to purchase a recorder and recorded him telling me that.
When his mother found out that I had recorded him she filed and Emergency Protective Order against me. The allegation that she stated in the Petition for the EPO were nonsensical and definitely nothing that would constitute an order being issued because I was a threat to her or my son. The judge that reviewed her Petition would not issue an EPO and set a hearing date.
On the date of the hearing that judge dismissed the case which meant that no Domestic Violence Order would be put in place. There was a Child Protective Services worker present that day and hugged my former wife and sat with her prior to the hearing. Also, my former wife’s sister was a CPS worker for several years and still knows many people in the system. After the hearing the CPS worker told me that she would be filing a Petition for Temporary Removal of my son from me.
A couple of weeks later I received papers to be in court for a Temporary Removal Hearing. I never spoke to anyone prior to the hearing – including the worker. There was never a home visit done on me.
I walked into court and an attorney was appointed for my wife, a GAL was appointed for my son and there was a prosecutor and the CPS worker also present. Approximately 20 minutes later the judge ruled (based completely on the false allegations by the CPS worker) that I could no longer have any type of visitation with my son and that I was to undergo a Mental Health Assessment by a Psychiatrist. It’s been a week since I’ve seen my son. I had enrolled my son in Karate classes and the judge told me that having him attend Karate 6 nights a week was too much. I explained that 6 nights a week was what my son wanted. He still insisted that “it was too much Karate.” I am allowed to be at the Karate Studio 3 nights a week to watch my son but I do not have any visitation with him. As of this writing I still have 7 more weeks before I will have another hearing and I don’t see anything going my way.
People everywhere need to UNITE and come together and put an end to this poorly constructed part of Government that hires unqualified people to posses this degree of authority.
These removals leave the child feeling abandoned by the parent that has been removed from his or her life and will likely cause the child to feel at some fault for what has occurred. The emotional confusion that will most likely follow the separation of the child from the parent is inflicting mental torture on the child. They have been removed from their every day life and routine that had become accustomed to and if I ever get my son back it will probably never be the same again.
You are right. I took my 4 yr old to the only pediatric dentist that was open late. My baby had a sore baby tooth and would not eat right because of it. The day I did this will be a day I will never forget. When I refused for them to do oral surgery, instead of a simple extraction they called the police on me and then CPS. The police came to my home @ 11pm that night.(Dentist visit was at 3pm earlier this day) The police demanded to come in to investigate a starving, malnurished child. After we let them in and I had to wake my sleeping baby so they can see, they concluded that there was no such child they left. They said they would let CPS know that this was a false acusation. Following morning a caseworker showed up . I did my own investigation. Come to find out, the dentist and caseworker have been working together for many yrs reporting ppl for monetary gain.

For the record, I found out the dentist was the culprit after I got my child’s medical records from the day I took her to see this dentist. Written in black ink was a note from the dentist stating: “Called CPS- Lois and spoke and met with her.” This after the Caseworker told me the call came in anonymously, from the intake center (1-800). Come to find out the caseworker and the dentist were friends.
I have gone thru one apeal and now am on my second. I am apealing all the way to the state capitol of Tx to clear my husband and my names. CPS has closed its case, but found us “Reason To Believe” on Medical abuse & neglect of our youngest who is soon to be 5 years old. All because a dentist got her panties in a wad, because I decided I did not want her surgically working on my child’s teeth in the hospital. I found out that an 18 month old had died, from being overmedicated with morphine at the same surgery center, where they used the same anesthisiologist. When I found this out, I decided I was not going to allow my baby to be the next victim. After I was nice enough to call and cancel the appt, the dentist representative contd to call and harass me. They even called my family members out of town, trying to hunt me down. Telling them that it was urgent I called them back, “OR ELSE.” I figured why call again, I already called them once and told them I was cancelling and taking my child to another. The night of the cancelled appt, the police showed up at my door at 11pm. They claimed they got a call, stating my youngest child was being starved to death and was near death. They came in my home and asked that i wake my child up so they can investigate themselves. I did as asked. They said they found nothing wrong and will put in the report, that they found a happy & healthy child. CPS Caseworker came by the following day. Told us she got an, “anonymous call” that my child was “starving to death.” She interviewed everybody and demanded I get her tested to find out why she is petite and demanded I get all her teeth, surgically done. I told her not all her teeth were bad, that she just had 1 sore tooth. She said get them all done or else. So, on thier orders a denist did a 4 hr surgery on her, giving her root canals on all 10 of her baby teeth. Whether she needed it or not. My baby’s face was disfigured afterwards and was in alot of pain. After all that, they closed the case still saying that we were guilty of medical abuse & neglect. I am fighting to clear our names. Still to no avail. This second apeal has been taking longer than a month already. The state said it will be quite longer and to be patient. Meanwhile, this dentist who started this all is still smelling like a sweet rose. I wish there was a way to get back at her for all the heartache she cause my family. But was told that Obama signed something into law, that protects medical professionals from retribution. So, they can file false claims and get away with it. I even commented on yellow pages about this dentist and they hired an atty, telling me to remove my post or face jail time. So I removed it right away. So people….my fight is not over. Even though I did not lose my children over this, I did lose my dignity and self esteem. I am afraid to go anywhere in public or tae my children anywhere. For fear of being reported for the slightest little thing, from my child getting a scraped knee from playing in the park, to who nows what else.
Two weeks ago my grandchildren were taken from are home! Behind my daughter and boy friend wrong doing! We hired a lawyer! But since I’ve been to prison before! They wouldn’t leave the kids with us! My wife has no kind of record. And I’ve been out over five years with a good job,off paroll and not even a ticket! Those kids are my life! We vist twice a day and the kids are going thru hell ! Are lifes are crushed !!
david i feel your pain…my son was put in jail and his children were taken from our home….my wife and i have no criminal record at all..just 1 traffic ticket in 40 yeras of driving….but the state says it is better to give kids to total strangers instead of with family…..we should all get together and sue the govt to get our kids and grandkids back….if we could find a lawyer who was more interested in justice than political aspirations or money

On Aug. 17, 2010 a CPS intake worker came to my house and said that some one called and reported that me and my boyfriend/babies dad had abused are 2 year old, Bubba and that we didn’t feed are 6 month old Jack. I told the worker that we never hit Bubba that when he get in trouble he sits/stands in time out. As for not feeding Jack that was just stupid, I’m sorry how do you not feed a baby?? I also told her that both boys have been to the doctor since birth and we had a scope scheduled for Jack on Aug 30. She told us she would follow up with us to make sure Jack was ok. Days went by and we never heard from her again. Then on Sept. 7, 2010 I got up, took my shower and then I went in and got Bubba and was bathing him when my front door open. I yelled for my boyfriend and then peeked around to find 2 city cops, the landlord, the parent aid and the intake worker. I was shocked! They said they had been knocking for 40 mins and that Bubba was standing in his bed room window with a dirty diaper on.( his bedroom window is upstairs and the windows are tinted.) They came in and said the house was trashed but they never left my livingroom. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment. Now as for my house being dirty, that bullshit! There was toys, and a dirty diaper that I for got to throw away and a few pop cans. But the way they talk it sounds like I had rotting food and animals on the floor. They took my kids away and I have been fighting for them. I have a lawyer and so does my boyfriend…we have went to court and the judge gave temp. custody to CPS do to housing and medical. But what I dont understand is we have medical records for both boys and we have pictures of the house. But the judge said it was better for the boys to be in CPS. Since my babies have been in CPS they have been in 2 foster homes. The first one beat my 2 year old and they wouldn’t let him eat when he was hungry only when they wanted to feed him, he also sucks his thumb and when he did it they would smack his thumb out of his mouth. CPS wouldn’t tell me why they were removed but the 16 year that was also in the home told me. They are now with a new mom and they are doing ok. They just need their Mommy and Daddy. We were told this would be a 6 month thing…that means I already missed Jack’s first Halloween and I’m going to miss Jack’s first Thanksgiving and Christmas and his first Birthday. My family is very big on holidays and this is killing everyone! I just don’t know what else to do, my lawyer seems to be working to help me and I keep doing everythig they say to do. What else can I do to get my babies back sooner????? I love and miss my babies, please someone help me and my little boys!
I have an admn review this wed. I have no atty either. Have wittnesses who are coming along to the meet, but cps is telling me they only want to meet and talk to me and hubby alone. Was told this is a violation of my rights, and that I can whomever I want at that meeting as a wittness to what will be said or done. What rights is this that I have? So I can throw it in cps face, if they say no to having anybody in the room with us? Does anybody know? Any advice on what I’m up ahead here? What to say or do?
Be careful of what you say, CPS is looking for any reason to find you guilty of a crime. You legally don’t even have to meet with them. Believe me, CPS workers are manipulative. They will say things to make you think that they are on your side, but remeber they are NOT!!! You don’t need an attorney if you don’t have crimanl charges pending. Do NOT, I repaeat, do NOT sign anything. Be respectful and decline. Good luck.
Well, on Nov 10th I went to the CPS Admn review. Luckily, my FIL agreed to lend us the money to get his personal atty go with us. The atty did all the talking. He presented CPS with a personal note from my child’s Pediatrician and Metabolic Specialist. Both stated that my child is healthy and that my husband and I have been good parents in bringing all 4 of our children for thier physicals, vaccinations etc. The Pedi further stated that he has not seen or observed any kind of medical abuse or neglect. My youngest is now 4. She is the baby of the fam. She is the only girl out of the 3 sons that I have. She is small (petite) and at 4 yrs, now weighs 30 lbs. She has been poked and prodded and all came out ok. But, because a dentist got mad over me cancelling an appt, they told cps and the police I was starving my child to death. I refused to take my child to this dentist, after I found out a 1 yr old had died under thier care, while undergoing dental surgery to fix a chipped tooth. Both dentist, surgery center, and anesthisiologist were never brought up on charges and still practice today. They over medicated the baby on morphine and sedation to keep him asleep.
So, this was why i refused to have this dentist work on my daughter. Anyway…CPS says they will reach a decision within a month. Its almost close to that and I have not heard a word. If they donot drop charges, I was told my husband and i will be put on a database and my child will have an open case till she becomes an adult. The atty said that those letters came at a good time, because who would know our child better than him. He has seen her and evaluated her and by law if he suspected anything he would have to call authorities. He never did. So, I nervously await CPS conclusions.

you can and very well should have anyone you want there with you. especially someone who has knowledge of legal rights and can read and understand the jibberish they write and talk about. and a nuteral person who can keep calm, and whom you trust with your life, to come in and help you ask the questions you want to ask and verify the answers they give. i know from my own case, that i always need someone there because i get too upset, an cant remember a darn thing once i get there and once i leave. also bring a mp3 playe that records the converstaions.

My four boys were taken from me in january. I have never been away from them. I didnt have a car and tried to make it to my visitations as much as i could. I also ended up in an abusive relationship after they were taken, i was able to get away but they were trying to take away my rights. My lawyer never knows whats going on and isnt doing anything to help me. I moved to my moms and since i have been here i have found a full time job i have completed their service plan to the best of my ability. i have phone records where i have called my case worker and her supervisor relentlessly and they refuse to call me back. They want me to stop calling the cps worker and to just sit back while they take away my kids for good. i dont know what to do. I just want my babies back.

My Brother was in prison and his ex/baby momma, was on drugs really bad, and I offered to help take care of my niece, until she could get on her feet. Well i had her for the first semester of school and I sent her to my moms for holidays. CPS was already investigating the mother and had told me not to give her back to her. few days after christmas the mother broke in threw the back door and kidnapped my niece. CPS and police went to her apartment and arressted her and took my niece into custody. We have not seen her since. except my brothers visitation 1 hour a week. recently we heard talk that foster parents want to adopt her. since hearing this they have started making allegations against my family more specifically me. I am now an alleged child molestor and my girlfriend watched the whole thing. OH and my niece supposedly told my mother about it and my mom told her not to tell anyone. SO all this being done in one fowl swoop has completely discredited anyone in my family from recieving my niece. Except my brother her, father. Unfortunately he has just been released from prison and does not have the resources to take care of her yet. CPS is working with foster parents, the councelors, and dr.s to an innocent man in prison and discredit our family from recieving Caitlin. I have been up for nearly 24 hours trying to find someone to help me, to tell me what to do, where to go. something anything. We dont have money for attorneys, and we cant sit around and let them do this to us. Can anyone help. even most of the high priced lawyers said theres not a whole lot to do unless you pay.
I don’t know anything about cps personally, but if it’s anything at all like cys, they’re just as cowardly and disgusting! cys in Philadelphia suburbs of Pennsylvania are indescribably cruel, heartless and some of the Elwyn employees are equally horrible, all they care about is getting a paycheck and making sure they don’t get sued, they really don’t give a damn about the children! Also, the social workers for the parents are a joke, they’re such hypocrites, it would take a lifetime to even begin to describe the crooked behavior they’re involved in!

What does the abbreviation CYS stand for? CPS is for Child Protective Serivces. CPS is the umbrella initials for most of the other abbreviations in the states. For example: Washington State is DCFS which stands for Department of Children and Family Services.
CYS stands for “Children & Youth Services” You must be in PA, because I believe that is the only place it is called that.

Hi. I am a child in state care have been for 4 an a half years. I will be 18 in less then 40 days so you would think i would be happy well i am not you may ask why. i have 5 siblings in state care and 4 of them in the adoption case. My mom lost her rights to them for missing court i think that was stupid. my mom till this day has not gave up and even though state works and even her lawyer tells her that there is no way of gettin them back. my mom has recieved information that she has been lied to of course by the state but even by her lawyer. my mom has no money to hire her own lawyer and she does not know what else to do. so me my mom and one of my lil. sis who is middle school is doing so much research and finding away to get my younger siblings back home. We no longer know what to do we have tried to get family in california who owns two homes and every thing was set for the kids to go to thier uncles and of course they failed not even these uncles know why they did not get them. not to say we also have native american in us witch has alot to say. I am in the same situation. I am also trying to get my kids back. I am also a father. I am trying to get them back in case the mother does not get them back. I have been a victim of an unscrupulous therapist who orchestrated most of this after I did not listen to what she was saying. I wanted her to leave as I did not see her helping our family and things seemed to be getting worse. However, my childrens mother wanted to stay with her because of the cajolling that the therapist provided her. I have now been listed in a registry and been denied unsupervised visitation with my children. I pay a therapist alot of money to supervise my visits with my children. The judge and the endless amounts of money spent by DHR are contributing to the duress which I and my family endure.
My name is Teisha L., I have a 4-year-old son in foster care. I have written emails to all my government representatives, I can’t get them to hear me.
I was at my son’s fathers home and they where playing, my son was hit in the ear. I was very upset with the father but I never thought that I should have called the police.
Someone called CPS and a caseworker came and took my son. They accused me of being a drug user and daily drinker; this was supposedly, what they heard.
I asked my mother and father to have my son placed in there home but CPS workers would not allow it. They said that my bother, mother and father where all drug users too. My parents do not have the resources to fight CPS. Therefore, my son remains in foster care.
I have passed all their mandated drug tests and I have taken their required classes and more, to show that I am serious about wanting my son back. They want me to do more, but they are not telling me what they want me to do.
Now I wait.
My son was biting himself on the hand (see picture), the caseworker refuses to do anything about it. I see my son 3-times a week but now he acts like the foster mom is his mom and that I am just a friend, coming to see him. It is killing me.
The court appointed an attorney to our case but she wants me to sign even more papers – requiring me to allow CPS to keep my son in foster care for an additional 6 to 12 months.
Why is that they can take my child – even though they have no evidence of wrong doing on my part and still they refuse to give him back? The state can do what ever it wants and we cannot stop them. I am very angry and upset but even more than that, I am concerned for my son.

Cps took my son . His father was playing with him and he hit in the side of his head. Me and father are not married and do not live together . I sent him to school and CPS was called . This the first Time CPS was in your life and they took my son Said I was a drug user and I drank Everyday so there where told . I passed all there dugs test I took for a month I what to the class they ask me to go to . I have ask what they what from me I will do just give back my son . Know what do i do If I play there game It sound like I still may not get him back .

well my family has had a dispute over money since my mother passed. I have a sister that is truly mean and out of spite called child services on me claiming we were mistreated and abusing my child. she even claimed we’d been smoking weed. the social worker interviewed us and insisted that we come in a do a drug analysis – which we both did. the day before we went of course to stir up more shit my sister called again and told them we’d planned to take something so we’d pass our drug test – which we didn’t. A week later we received a phone that we’d both failed our test she stated it had been diluted – which is a crock becasue we’d drank nothing but cokes before we left the house – and the pee was as yellow as can be. Are they just trying to reassure theirselves before closing the case? Is that a posibility? I am so frustrated at this whole situation – family isn’t supposed to do this unless there is truly a real threat which there is none…my child is truly spoiled, loved, and well taken care of.
When a child is incouraged to lie by grandmother because grandmother dislikes daughter’s husband and is willing to distory the family to get back at the daughter. The stepfather is order out of the home because of this. This is wrong. By the way the stepfather passed two lie detector test and a pyco test. But the state continues to demand more testing of stepfather. Each time telling the family if the stepfather passes the test the children will be returned, The welfare keep saying the test are inconcludive and demand another test. Where does it stop. The lawyers have suck the family dry for all monies and keep demand more before they will continue to demand the children be returned.
